Marcio is the very definition of what it means to be an artisanal winemaker, focusing all of his efforts on making pure, natural expressions of the country’s indigenous varietals. He works with old vineyard systems, supports integrated, sustainable farming practices, and only uses native yeasts in the winery.  A lovely expression of a light, zippy, maritime wine loaded with lemon, lime and orchard fruits.  

He won Portugal’s “Best Upcoming Winemaker” award in 2019.
