How many times do you come across a wine made by one of Italy's professional car racers? This is the case with Marco de Bartoli, originally from a winemaking family in Marsala, his passion for cars spoke deeper in his youth which led him to professionally pursue the life of a racer.  Not until the end of his career, Marco decided to turn the page and go back to his family business making wine in Marsala. Today the winery is run by his three children, Renato, Sebastiano and Giusippina. With that youthful energy led to new experiments, most notably dry white wines like this Catarratto. Fermented dry on stainless steel tanks following 7 months of aging on the fine lees.  This wine delivers everything you are craving from an island wine, energy, freshness, salty notes delivered in a palate of Italian citrus.
