Marquiliani 'Rosé de Pauline,' Vin de Corse, France 2022

Not far from the old Roman capital of Corsica Aleria, Aghione hosts only 245 inhabitants. Aghione is flanked by the mountains, where the flats rise into the hills. Today it is just as celebrated for its olive groves and vineyards as it was thousands of years ago. Here, the Amalric family has farmed Domaine de Marquiliani since the 1950s. Daniel Amalric earned significant recognition for his wines, but his daughter Anne now runs the show, not missing a beat. Her wine will transport you to the shores of Corsica with its delicate floral aromatics and salty oceanic crispness—notes of red fruit & citrus glide across the palate. You should ask us about her olive oil.
