The Champart’s Vin de Pays is a unique beast. It’s made principally from Cabernet Franc vines within the Saint-Chinian appellation (which is not permitted by the appellation cops). The Syrah lends its weight and floral undertones to a more medium bodies Cabernet Franc while the Carignan highlights the red fruits in the blend. This wine offers immense drinking pleasure & complexity for the price.
