Nana Vins et Cie "Konjo Fouzitou" Rouge 2020
After getting fired from his enology professor job (he told his students to practice natural agriculture against the traditional chemical fueled curriculum), the late Christian Chaussard embarked on a journey that made his name forever be remembered in the world of wine. If you drink Pet-Nat today, he's in the one to thank! Sadly Cristian left us too soon after a tragic vineyard accident but his wife, Nathalie Gaubicher was adamant about carrying out his legacy. She married a fellow winemaker, Emile Hérédia, and together they continued the work at Nana Vins & Cie, with the outmost respect to the earth and vine, practicing natural viticulture and minimal intervention in the winery. This wine is delightful, lighter red from some cool folks that you want to follow.
