The town of Les Riceys, where the slopes are formed of Kimmeridgian chalk, that same great stuff that is the foundation of the finest Chablis and Sancerre, not typcially what one would find in Champagne. Olivier is in the Aube, one of the most exciting region of Champagne. The grapes for this wine come from the En Barmont parcel. A simple and intimate expression of the Riceys' terroirs.
