Graziano Prà runs the show here.  His family has owned their vineyards for generations but never commercialized the wines in bottle. The vineyards are situated in the heart of the appellation, in Monteforte D’Alpone. Otto is a blend of multiple parcels between 30- to 60-year-old vines.  The fermented wine is aged on its lees in tank for 4-5 months.  Although this is the estates entry white, it still provides great tension and flavor due to the age of the vines and the black volcanic soils found in Monteforte.   Lightly medium bodied, but tangy and fresh.
