Isabel Ferrando purchased this historic property in 2003, and ever since the quality continues to impress. She respects tradition but is not bound by it. The best way to describe her wines are profound yet elegant, & a consistent benchmark for what Châteauneuf-Du-Pape is. The wine red fruit forward, lush and giving, with attractive mineral undertones and fine grained tannin.
Pairing: Beef, Lamb, and braised meats, stews, roasted potatoes.
Grapes: 85% Grenache, 5% Cinsault, 5% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre (100% whole-cluster fermentation. Aged 15 months in cement)
Soil: Galets Roulés
Viticulture: Organic, implementing biodynamic practices since 2019
