Schiavenza is located in the Barolo commune of Serrelunga d'Alba & they are certainly a Barolo producer to keep your eye on.  Their nebbiolo is a perfect representation of what to except from the early drinking wines of this region. The fruit here is dark and juicy but the lively acidity gives this wines a burst of freshness.  A perfect companion to your pizza.  A serious Langhe Nebbiolo.
