Ulli (and now his young protégé Philip Lardot) are forces to be reckoned with in the Mosel.  Ulli farms some of the steepest parcels in the Mosel because he adores these steep barely workable vineyards. From the prized Himmelreich vineyard, this just barely off-dry Riesling has both weight and acidity, while maintening a light, zippy character
