Tenuta De Sterlich Pecorino Colli Aprutini, Abruzzo, Italy 2021

Tenuta De Sterlich Pecorino Colli Aprutini, Abruzzo, Italy 2021
Tenuta De Sterlich is a small biodynamic winery between the Adriatic Sea and the Appenine mountains, founded in 2017 by two friends, Roberto Fracassa, and Alessandro Massacesi. They are lovers of great natural wines from Italy and beyond and adopt the very same ethos for their own winery and vineyard. Professor Seghetti, the long-time consultant at the infamous Valentini winery, is guiding them in the production of their own wines. This Pecorino has the minerality of a Chablis but the ripeness and intensity of a Chardonnay from the Côte d'Or. Mineral driven, pith, apple skins, textural, medium-bodied.
