Gia Togonidze produces wonderfully elegant style of Georgian wine, while using traditional Georgian wine making technique using quevri. The palate isn't as textured as one would expect from your classic Georgian wine, think of this as your introduction to Georgian wine, but not your introduction to orange wine. Notes of bosc pear, lemon oil compliment the classic earthy notes of Georgian quevri winemaking. Rkatsiteli (R-KAT-SIT-ELI) is an indigenous Georgian variety that retains nervy fresh acidity even in the hottest of summer, therefore elevating the wines freshness.
