The Boxler family has been making dry & powerful styles of wine since 1673 & is still family run by Jean Boxler.  And when we say powerful, we do not mean big and oaky, these wines demand the presence of the table.  The Grand Cru bottlings are exquisite with 5-10 years of age.  There is so much depth and energy to every sip.  We highly recommend taking a few for your cellar.  The 2019 Brand Riesling is dry & intense.  The aromatic intensity of flint, orange peal, and stone fruit will lead you to believe that palate is richer than it is.  The acid is persistent followed by a saline finish.  Brand is always more powerful than Sommerberg.
