Three friends started what would become Nashville Barrel Company in 2018, to take their love of single-barrel whiskey selection to another level, and help combat the growing trend of quality Bourbon becoming allocated and prohibitively expensive. After their first large-scale purchase of select Bourbon barrels, the bottles they released quickly gained hype, and in early 2020 they released their first single barrel rye. They understand that some of the best whiskeys actually come from tasting and blending several barrels, so this was produced for the New York market from 9 select barrels distilled at MGP that were aged between 5 and 6 years.
