Bernhard Ott comes from a long lineage in the Wagram area, with family ties to the region dating back to 1889.  Since he began managing the property in 1993, Bernhard has made many changes for the better, including conversion to biodynamic viticulture and the use of very large, old Stockinger barrels for aging their delicate whites. Bernhard focuses almost exclusively on Gruner Veltliner, and has become a legend among the producers of Austria's most important wine.
