Alois Lageder is one of the leaders of biodynamics in Alto Adige. Employing the anthroposophical views that a farm is an enclosed microcosm containing a variety of plants and animals. A cultural landscape, too, is a closed system involving the soil, plants, and nature. These are wines of freshness - light and moderate alcohol - and are ideal companions to light fare. A blend of numerous varietals native to the Italian Alps, this is at once classic and modern, cerebral and just plain fun to drink.
