Founded in 1889, this grower-producer is not only known as a fundamental member of the Champagne community but also for their innovation in the cellar and vineyard. Credit is due to the progressive vintner, Aurélien Laherte, who took over operations in 2005. The terroir in Chavot is magnificent, so Aurélien is careful to produce cuvées that respect the unique conditions and optimal limestone-clay soils. Ultradition is, as the name implies, ultra-traditional; marrying lovely ripe orchard fruit with the vibrant energy and dry finish of a classic brut Champagne.
