Sulauze 'Pomponette' Rosé, Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, France 2024 [Large Format]
This is your quintessential summer rosé, in a large format bottle for extra shock value. Made by Karina and Guillaume Lefèvre, who met hiking across Corsica, together they have built a family and domaine in the tiny village of Miramas in the Côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation. The family biodynamically farms 29 hectares of traditional Provençal red and white varieties grown in a friable limestone soil known as "Lauze," from which the winery takes its name, Domaine de Sulauze. Elegant with underripe red fruits, watermelon, tension, and a lovely mineral component.
