Domaine Roulot is widely renowned for their masterful production of terroir-driven wine in the Côte de Beaune. Their precise organic farming of numerous lieu-dit parcels, especially in Meursault, coupled with minimal intervention in the cellar, leads to maximum expression of numerous Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. Since the founding of Domain Roulot in 1930, the winery has championed the soils of Meursault, cultivating wines with richness and excellent aging potential. The 2015 ‘Clos des Boucheres’ oozes with notes of hazelnut and ripe orchard fruit, with floral nuances and well-integrated notes of oak; fine, elegant, and a delight to drink.

Fine pale colour, youthful zesty nose, plenty of energy. Tight lean and limey but with very good intensity and the length is there. ...may fatten up later on. Tasted: September 2018.
