The wines crafted by Jean-Philippe Fichet are genuinely something to be adored. His unwavering dedication to his vines, from dawn until dusk, is truly inspirational. Fichet's focus on the lieu-dits of Meursault and his belief in waiting for the perfect moment to pick his grapes is a testament to his commitment to quality. While some vignerons opt for an earlier harvest, Fichet's wines remain a pure joy to savor, reflecting the unique terroir from which they originate.

Did not frost, being among the last to be pruned and on the later developing 3309C rootstock. Plenty of immediate fruit with some generosity. Very good flesh here, almost an old style buttery Meursault. Medium length. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted: October 2022.
