Florian André 'La Belle Etoile,' Rosé IGP Du Gard, France 2024
Florian André of Chateau Manissy produces this easy rosé from a 1.5-hectare site blessed with abundant sunlight and drying mistral winds. Soil rich in limestone and clay provides the perfect foundation for organic viticulture. The vineyards are lovingly tended by Florian André's mother and the wine is named "Beautiful Star" in honor of a Manissy Brotherhood missionary priest.
The grapes undergo a cold maceration and low-temperature fermentation process, with the help of indigenous yeasts. Aged only in stainless steel tanks, showcasing the pure and unadulterated beauty of the grapes. The resulting rosé is dry and crisp with a lovely strawberry note on the nose; simply an amazing value for summer sipping.
