Clos Sainte Magdeleine Cassis Blanc, France 2024
Clos Sainte Magdeleine Cassis Blanc, France 2024
Cassis is one of those magical places on earth, where food, drink and place come together to make a paradise. The vineyards of Clos Sainte Magdeleine are particularly stunning, located on the Mediterranean coast, where the limestone chalk cliffs meet the warm azure waters. The Sack-Zafiropulos family has been making wine here for four generations. They're committed to continuing to craft wines of grace and finesse, yet enough longevity that will keep your mouth watering for years to come. This Cassis Blanc is aged in stainless steel tanks and two 500-L demi-muids on fine lees until spring or early summer bottling. The Mediterranean influence is so ever present with its ocean spray salinity and warm texture. This mid-bodied white is a lovely match for shellfish and bitter vegetables
