Stein's 2023 Kabinett's are some of the best Rieslings you will see out of the Mosel in recent decades, especially in this price range. Himmerlreich means "Kingdom of Heaven", and this is definitely heaven for Riesling lovers. Ungrafted (like nearly all of Stein's vines) old vines upwards of 80+ years, terraced on blue and gray slate. Himmelreich is always marked by anise, blue and green cooling fruits, electric acidity and ends in this glorious savoury Kabinett Feinherb realm. Although the residual sugar is a moderate 17 g/L, the wave of acidity and luxurious texture make sure this wine does not come off sweet. Glorious.
