Rebel winemaker, Ulrich Stein, makes one of Mosel’s only sparkling rosés. The Mosel is one of the most excellent wine-growing climates in the world, contrary to the more ubiquitous rosé regions (think Provence). These areas are often hot and sun-drenched, risking wines that can be flabby and higher in alcohol. But the coolness of Mosel’s climate is ideal for making fresh, acid-driven, and snappy rosé.
