'H' by Hine is a specialty blended VSOP Cognac that strikes a balance of quality and approachability; making it perfect for anyone beginning to explore this classic spirit category, or as a standard on the home bar of any Cognac lover. Produced from a blend of some fifteen eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, and aged four years in French oak. The profile is bright and lively with generous notes of fresh apple, white tea, and pear blossom on the nose, it has a smooth but powerful mid-palate, while soft caramel, vanilla, and a whisper of apricot round out the finish. This is an excellent Cognac for cocktails, either in a Sidecar or Corpse Reviver #1, or as a substitute for whiskey in a sour or old fashioned.
