Located in the heart of the Santa Maria Valley, the Murphy family, along with Santa Barbara County Vineyard Manager Jim Stollberg and Winemaker Dieter Cronje, built their dream winery. The entire operation is still family-owned, producing cool-climate wines from sustainable-certified vineyard plots across Santa Barbara County.

Presqu'ile Santa Barbara County Chardonnay is aged in neutral oak ( 60% French, 40% Austrian) for just under a year, then blended and rested in steel for another six months. The oak is well-integrated but provides classic Cali Chard richness and notes of baked apple and angel food cake, with a current of lively acidity from the cooler microclimate of Santa Maria Valley.
