Allan Scott has been in the NZ wine industry since the 1970s and his expertise & understanding of the region and Sauvignon Blanc is displayed in this wine. Classic passionfruit and grapefruit open, but because Scott waits for the ultimate ripeness of fruit, the resulting wine is rich and juicy with tropical fruits of melon and starfruit. To further bolster the richness, this wine sees a short time on the lees which attributes to the round texture.
