A blend of native Portuguese grapes from 25-60 vines in the granite soils of Vila Nova de Tazem, in the Dão region, at some 500m elevation. Fermented in used French oak foudre and barrels and aged in the same for 15 months before bottling. A spicy medium-bodied red with tight dark fruits and classic Portuguese acidity. Pair this with heavy seafood dishes, or anything with salt and char. 

Pairing: Char-broiled sea bass, Monkfish and tomato stew, Barbecue Blowfish
