Loïc, 13th generation winemaker at the venerable Dugat-Py domaine, has shown great skill in his winemaking ability. The wines of Dugat-Py are as powerful and brooding as ever, and at once floral and earthy. 

All plantings are selection massale, using their best old fruit to replant. The vineyards are tended like a garden, with biodynamic teas prepared in-house and no trimming of the canopy. Organic vineyard management since 2003. No pre-fermentation maceration (cold soak) is done on any wines, just raw material, without any additives or correction. Traditional fermentation. Wines are unfiltered and unfined.

Cuvée Halinard is made using declassified Gevrey-Chambertin grapes, a great value for the region, and especially for Dugat-Py.
