Domaine Cécile Tremblay 'Les Cabottes' Chambolle-Musigny, France 2021
If the names Jayer and Fournier sound familiar to you, you're looking at the right wine. Cecile Tremblay, is a descendant of Edouard Jayer, a cooper in Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Esther Fournier who inherited vineyards from her family. Their children went on to make some of the best Burgundy in history, and the new generation is no different. Cecile is their great-granddaughter and like her ancestors, she has been turning heads in Burgundy. After taking over the vineyard, Cecile started the long conversion process to biodynamic management right away. The full Domaine got certified organic in 2005 and biodynamic in 2016.
The first vintage of this Chambolle-Musigny Village was in 2003 using vineyards that had been in her family since 1921.
About 2,700 bottles are produced every year.
