The Carvahlo Martins family spans over four generations in Portugal's Mêda region, an area once famous in Portugal that is now experiencing a revival. The current generation has returned to low-intervention methods to emphasize Mêda's unique terroir. They've also just recently begun to export their wines to the US, so the prices are still amazingly low given the quality.
