Über refreshing and beautifully pure - this example from Müller-Ruprecht, in the Pfalz region of Germany, is entirely Pinot Noir, all hand-harvested from estate vineyards free of pesticides or herbicides. After a direct press and stainless steel fermentation, the wine is aged briefly in steel tanks. Crisp but not boring, fruity but not sweet - a perfect alternative to your typical Provence rosé that is still light and dry for summer sipping.
