Amabuki 'Himawari' Sunflower Junmai Ginjo Sake

Amabuki 'Himawari' Sunflower Junmai Ginjo Sake

Amabuki Shuzo is a distinguished sake brewery with a 300-year history rooted in the Genroku period, located in Saga Prefecture, Japan. The brewery is renowned for its innovative use of flower yeasts, a unique approach that imparts distinctive aromas and flavors to their sakes. By harnessing yeasts derived from various blossoms, Amabuki crafts sakes that embody the essence of nature's floral diversity.

'Himawari' is made with yeast isolated from sunflowers to brew a pure and fresh Junmai. A perfect summer sake, with overtones of meadow hay, kiwi, goldenrod, and, well... sunflower!
