Domaine de Sacy Sancerre Blanc, France 2025
Domaine de Sacy Sancerre Blanc, France 2025
This perfect little Sancerre from the hamlet of Sacy is produced by Karine Millet. She farms organically with only 4 hectares of vines, and the family domaine is a polycultural farm that also raises heritage dairy cows for cheese production. The vines average at least 30 years old, with many older than 45 years. Her wine style is classic and stream-lined, racy and bone-dry - exactly what everyone looks for in a Sancerre white. Production here is quite limited, but the wine remains an excellent value.
Pairing: Cider glazed chicken with herbs, goat cheese, white flaky fish
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Soil: Limestone (Terres Blanches)
Viticulture: Herbicide-Free, Organic (undergoing certification)
