Fattoria di Rodano is a small Chianti estate located near the medieval village of Castellina, owned by the Pozzesi family since the 16th century. Rodano produce artisanal wines with great value, following organic practices in the vineyard and classic Tuscan vilification methods, such as cement fermentations and the use of Slavonian Bottis (Large oak Vats), for aging and maturation of the wine.   

Both, the amazing quality of their fruit, and the origin of the grapes used to produce this Chianti Classico have positioned it as one of the best value traditional Chianti on the market.

The Rodano, Chianti Classico 2020 was produced using hand-harvested grapes from their celebrated, south-facing amphitheater vineyard of Viacosta, and other vineyards in Castellina. Minimal intervention was applied during fermentation, in order to allow the natural qualities of the Sangiovese grape and Chianti terroir to shine. 

This wine displays traditional notes of cherry, dried herbs, and a touch of earthiness, with great structure, elegance, and a fantastic aging capacity.
