A masterful expression of Madeira winemaking from  D'oliveiras, one of the island's most iconic producers, as well as one of  the original Madeira shippers. Founded in 1820, this winery has maintained an unbroken legacy of family ownership.  

The D’Oliveiras 5-Year-Old Demi Sec is aged for five years using the traditional Canteiro method, where the wine matures in casks that are not completely full, which allows the wine to oxidize and develop its characteristic aromas.

This demi-sec Madeira shows a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness, with aromas of toasted nuts, citrus zest, and dried fruits that greet the nose, leading to flavors of orange peel, caramel, and a hint of spice on the palate. Its tangy acidity cuts through the lush sweetness, offering a bright, structured finish. Reflecting D’Oliveiras’ tradition of powerful, aromatic wines, this Madeira is a tribute to the artistry and resilience of classic Madeira winemaking.
