Arette Blanco Tequila 1L
Arette Blanco Tequila 1L
Arette blanco is a showhorse masquerading as a mule, and it's still trotting under the radar... for now. The flavor is clean and it's verified additive-free (unlike certain trendy tequilas that won't be mentioned by name). This liter of thoroughbred agave will take you around the track and won't break your back, or your bank. If you want a faithful steed for your tequila cocktail needs, and you're tired of overpaying (and horse jokes), then place your bet on Arette.
Arette is named to honor the horse that won gold for Mexico in the 1948 Olympics in London. The brand was created in 1986 by Jaime and Eduardo Orendain who revived the family distillery, El Llano, at its original location in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. One of the four 'Tequila Founding Families', the Orendain name commands respect in the Valley of Tequila. Not only is Orendain honored with a statue in the lobby of the 'Consejo Regulador del Tequila' building, but the surname is emblazoned on the outside of the local bar 'La Capilla' as a sign of admiration for the family's long and humble history in the region.
100% Tequilana 'Blue Weber' Agave cooked in a high-pressure autoclave, fermented in open-top stainless steel, double pot-distilled, and bottled with no additives.
