The Thompson Brothers (who's name is redacted on US labels due to a copyright conflict) have been passionate about Scotch since well before they were legally allowed to drink it. By sourcing whisky from some of the top producers in Scotland, they're able to offer exceptional quality Scotch at prices that undercut the competition. This is labeled as a "Blended Scotch Whisky Aged Over 6 Years", but is mostly 12-year single malt (reportedly from a very well-known distillery) teaspooned with grain whiskey, which negates its single-malt status but not its single-malt flavor. This is all Highland Scotch all day long, dripping with jammy fruit, tea cake, burnt walnuts, and honey toasted oak. Deep, smooth, rich, and drinks way above its price.
