The village Thörnich is located in an upper-section of the Mosel, far away from the more famous stretch of the Mosel, where the more recognizable wines makers are located. In this easily forgotten place, you'll find truly old-school Mosel Rieslings, more rustic, transparent, and bracing. This wine is fermented to just off-dry (in 2023 it has only 11 g/L residual sugar) and flaunts a precocious balance, a magical, just barely perceptible off-dry-ness.
