Love and passion for the land and vines have guided the Saccomani estate since its origin in the 1940s when Giuseppe Saccomani began growing table grapes.  In the mid-80s, the company shifted its entire production to wine grapes. The 4th generation of vignerons, Claudia and Luca, joined the company once they finished their studies in food and agriculture. They produce authentic, low-sulfite wines utilizing indigenous yeasts and no chemicals, reflecting the sandy, and fossil-rich soil of the Val d'Arda. 

Gutturnio Frizzante is a lightly sparkling dry red wine from Italy's Emilia-Romagna region in the Piacenza Hills. With a bright, ruby red color, cherry-like aromas, refreshing acidity, and light body, it is perfect as a not-sweet alternative to Lambrusco.

Pairing: as an Aperitif, with traditional Piacenza cured meats, or Pizza 

Grapes: 60% Barbera, 40% Croatina
