Bedell is the only vineyard growing this Spanish varietal here on the North Fork, where it nimbly captures the summer sun and delivers it in a tight greenish-gold package. When you travel to the North Fork during the warm summer months the farm stands are plush with vegetables and the oysters are served in nearly every restaurant.  With its crushable acidity & savory salinity all wrapped up in a bouquet of peach skin, this is a highly drinkable wine for the summer months, if it lasts that long.
