This reserve Malbec is made from grapes hand harvested in the alluvial deposits of the Tunuyán River in Paraje Altamira and the alluvial zone of Gualtallary. Naturally fermented then aged for eighteen months in French oak foudres and for an additional six months in the bottle. The soils are composed of medium and large gravels and limestone which are coated in calcium carbonate. The cool-climate, limestone terroir gives the wine a distinctively smooth tannin structure and mature flavor. Ready to enjoy now or refine with age for up to twenty years.
