Pelizzatti Perego family has been running AR.PE.PE, a picturesque property, within far north Lombardy, tucked into the hillsides of the Rhaetian Alps & the Orobie Mountains, for 5 generations.  Vineyards here are steeply terraced and unaccessible via mechanization.  The family continues to craft aromatic and nuanced Nebbiolo from these extreme vineyard locations. 

• 100% Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) from the Inferno subzone, grown at an altitude of 450 meters with a southern exposure
• 2019 vintage of ‘Fiamme Antiche’ was harvested on October 28th
• Maceration takes place over 104 days in 50-hectoliter wooden vats and aged 15 months in a combination of large barrels and stainless steel tank.
