Duncan Arnot Meyer and Nathan Lee Roberts are one of the most dynamic wine teams in California. Their wines have an old world soul with new world flare, coming from some of California's most historic vineyards. The fruit for this bottling comes from the oldest planting of Syrah on the Sonoma Coast, planted before anyone else knew how to handle Syrah vines in cooler climate. The credit for this goes to both the Ragos and to Ehren Jordan, from Que Syrah vineyard, for being true mavericks in cool-climate farming of this grape variety in California.
