This unique wine is produced almost exclusively in the municipality of Verduno, from the rare native grape variety Pelaverga Piccolo. You can tell that it is special by its colour, but what is particularly captivating is its unmistakable spicy scent, especially of pepper, hence Speziale (spezia being the Italian word for spice).
