Josée Vanucci and her husband Fabrice Couloumère take great care in cultivating their vineyards situated in a distinctive microclimate. The region is blessed with the warmth of the Mediterranean sun and also the cool breeze from the sea and nearby mountains. Due to the Castagniccia mountains, nights in the east are usually cooler, which limits sun exposure and helps preserve the freshness and aroma of the wine. Their wines are elegant, charming, and approachable, without any hint of pretension. La Robe d'Ange is a very light and quaffable red with beautiful aromatics that can be enjoyed with snacky food or all by itself.
