The COS name is practically synonymous Sicilian wine.  The winery was founded in 1980 by three friends, Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, and Cirino Strano. The initials of their last names form the winery’s name.  They work with indigenous Sicilian vine varieties and have one of the largest collections of amphorae.  COS Frappato is Sicily's answer to Cru Beaujolais.  Drinking this wine will give you the feeling of biting into a perfectly ripe strawberry.  Notes of orange peel and a touch of cinnamon compliment the finish. 

Pairing: Pizza with roasted peppers and red sauce pasta, or your Thanksgiving turkey with cranberry sauce.
