Meet Cody and Emily Rasmussen, a couple originally from Iowa and high school sweethearts, who share a passion for winemaking. They moved to Sonoma County in 2011 and have since built successful careers. Cody is an Associate Winemaker at Bedrock Wine Co., which was named the 2020 Winery of the Year, and focuses on producing age-worthy wines from heritage vineyards. Emily runs a communications consulting business where she helps wineries in Napa and Sonoma with digital marketing, public relations, and communications. In 2017, they founded Desire Lines Wine Co. with the goal of creating vibrant and delicious wines from exceptional vineyards in California.

The Syrah brings an agile and fragrant element to this wine while the Carignan takes on a lively and opulent character, and Mourvèdre exudes the aroma of a strawberry pie resting on a windowsill on a warm summer evening. The resulting wine is juicy, with a medium body and a delightful blend of fresh and purple fruits. It is soft and fruity, with just the right amount of acidity. With a touch of air, this wine becomes even more juicy and expressive, with a burst of blueberry flavor.
