With vineyards planted on steep slopes overlooking the town of Freterive in the French Alps, Domaine des Ardoisières certainly creates a picturesque identity. In 2022, the estate acquired the former Domaine Louis Magnin vineyard, which includes a six-hectare hillside  with 2.5 hectares planted to Roussanne, from which this wine is entirely made. 

We are known fans of the Savoie and are very excited to be among the first to have this on our shelves. Saline stone fruit notes with powerful and lasting body make this an exceptionally special expression of Roussanne.
