Domaine Vacheron, overseen by cousins Jean-Laurent and Jean Dominique Vacheron, is widely recognized as one of the top properties in the Sancerre. From the family’s pioneering work in identifying and exploring the region’s top terroirs to their leading position in biodynamic viticulture, there are few artisans today in Sancerre as exacting or as respected. The scent of grapefruit zest and gunflint is present, while the taste is dominated by the flavors of lemons and limes, combined with sea salt and crisp pears. It is easy to see why Domaine Vacheron is one of Sancerre's top wineries.
